Tailor-made with Ja’s touch to help support the gravity-defiant play of “12.” Built to maximize hang time, feel stable, and be firmly cushioned, the JA 1 gives hoopers the tools they need for unreal bounce.

• Prepare for Liftoff:A forefoot Zoom Air unit helps provide increased responsiveness and vertical acceleration. Plush cushioning provides comfort when you come back to Earth after skying in the clouds.
• Stay Supported:A containment system and forefoot strap help keep your ankle and heel stable, so that you’re in control and always supported whether you’re changing directions at high speeds, springing toward the rim or staying in front of shifty ball-handlers on defense.
• Unreal Bounce:JA 1 helps you respond quickly for verticality with an Air Zoom Bag inserted into the forefoot while an IP Foam and Sidewall Guardrails on the midsole help with control and landing. Combined with a sturdy, breathable mesh to help ensure containment, the JA 1 was built for ballers to rise up when no one expects it.
• It's All in the Details:An extended TPU swoosh provides a unique way to carry your kicks into the gym, along with messaging across the shoe inspired by his family and work ethic, some of the special assists that came from Ja’s helping hand during the design process.
• Grind City-Raised:As a kid, Ja loved when his dad hopped on the grill and cooked up hot dogs, burgers and chicken legs after a young Ja and his friends hooped from sunup to sundown in the Morant backyard. Family means everything to Ja. They’re the fuel to his fire, the drive to get it done on the court. This special design pays homage to those Morant family barbecues and the fond memories made.
